DEIDRE HEINDL

Deidre's love for photography began with the gift of a camera on her 9th birthday.  She continued to hone her skills and ultimately earned a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art Photography.  While pursuing a career as a portrait photographer, her love of nature and animals blossomed as she trained as a handler of birds of prey, educating the community about these magnificent creatures and participating in rescue efforts to attempt rehabilitation.  She now holds a degree in Wildlife Conservation, is an Advanced SCUBA diver, and is learning underwater photography. In addition, she is continuing her education as a volunteer at J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island.

Deidre shares her enthusiasm and devotion to nature through her sensitive, thoughtful images of the circle of life.
